I've Done It!!

I have become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

Yup, I did it. I am currently sitting in my craft room (with Nicky and Tori curled up on chairs and Jackson sitting on a blanket in front of the heater) unpacking my demonstrator box. I signed up during Sale-a-bration as I was able to get more "STUFF".
I was surprised to see a sample box of the Paper Pumpkin project kit in with what I ordered and the new demonstrator items.

Getting to know me

I have been mulling over what to write in my 1st blog since May 2013. I wrote and deleted, wrote and deleted; I sat in front of the computer screen until my vision blurred and ultimately I put the creation of this Blog from my mind. 

The past few months have started me thinking about doing something during my non-work hours that I could enjoy. Today I decided to jump in and say..... Hi.

My name is Melissa and as you may surmise from the name of my blog I LOVE to spend my down time in the kitchen or my craft room. I have one husband (who enjoys eating muffins on the weekend), five cats (4 shelter and 1 breeder), a loving extended family and I spend way too much time "looking" at Pinterest and not enough time "creating".

My goal is to spend at least a hour a night in my craft room or in my kitchen making something yummy. Then I am going to write about my experiences and throw in some pictures so your eyes don't get bored just looking at words on the screen.
